What will you see?

The Basilica of St. George at Prague Castle is one of the most important Romanesque monuments and the second oldest church in Prague, founded in 920.
The attached Chapel of St. Ludmila from the 13th century contains the remains of this first Czech martyr, the grandmother of St. Wenceslas.
The interior of the Basilica of St. George is quite exceptional. The Christmas program featuring works by great composers such as Charpentier, Tartini, Dvořák,
Handel, Schubert, Pachelbel, and Mozart will be performed by a string quintet accompanied by the angelic voice of a soprano.
This performance will surely excite you and put you in the mood for the Christmas holidays.
Please note that the interior of the Basilica of St. George is not normally open to the public free of charge.
We look forward to seeing you at the Christmas concerts in the unique interior of the Basilica of St. George at Prague Castle.
