Swan Lake is one of the most beautiful and famous classic stories. The ballet adaptation of the fairy tale about Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, whom the evil wizard [Rudolph] together with her companions, enchanted into [swans], has enchanted audiences for more than 150 years, not only with the [interest] of this story but also with the wonderful and enchanting music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The concert takes place in the Church of St. Martin in the Wall. A beautiful program performed by a string quartet, featuring members of leading Czech orchestras. The concerts will impress you with their excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere. The interior of the Church of St. Martin in the Wall is heated in winter, while in summer you can relax in a cool, pleasant environment behind the nearly meter-thick walls of the church. The performance, energy, and personal commitment of the string quartet will surely excite you. All members of the quartet come from musical families and have a passion for music in their blood. Jitka Balková, in particular, represents the fourth generation of Czech musicians. The concert lasts approximately one hour without intermission.
